Two months have raced by since we began accepting entries on September 1st. We’ve received over two hundred works from Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Oceania, and North, Central, and South America, covering all the major continents. Documentaries are said to be a “mirror on the world.” What kinds of worlds will they reflect this time?

From October, the Yamagata Office has been working on a new project entitled “Nostalgic Yamagata.” We hunt down old footage, then screen it and examine it. Please get in touch with us if you have any old films lying around your house.
