Our email Newsletter will bring you the latest news and information related to the YAMAGATA International Documentary Film Festival in Yamagata, Japan. Currently transmission dates are fixed at irregular intervals, however as the festival draws near, it will be expected to be released once or twice a month.

Notice: Email software is used for subscription registration and cancellation. Our newsletter will be transmitted to the sender’s email address stored by this mail software.

How to register:

  1. Leave the subject/title line of your email blank.
  2. Enter <subscribe@yidff.jp> in the address field.
  3. Please include your residential location (ex. country name if you live outside Japan, prefectual and city/town name if you live in Japan) in the main text of the message.
  4. That’s all. Now all you have to do is click the send button!
  5. We’ll send you a confirmation mail to confirm your subscription.

How to cancel your subscription:

  1. Leave the subject/title line of your email blank.
  2. Enter <subscribe@yidff.jp> in the address field.
  3. Write only
    bye
    in lower caps in the body of the message
  4. Click send, and you’re done. Your subscription will automatically be canceled when we receive your email.

Unsubscribe

When changing your email address:

  • Unsubscribe before changing the email address. Then, subscribe again with the new one.
