The new year is here and we wish you a prosperous 2015! Snow came to Yamagata early this winter, but we can’t just sit around shivering. This is the year of the biennial YIDFF, and preparations are now fully in swing, gearing towards October.
We are engrossed in putting together the various ideas we have to make this 14th edition special. To shape a fresh image out of each edition, we value the process of thinking freely and deeply as we encounter each film. By mid-summer, the “core” of the festival will be unveiled and this year’s YIDFF will show its face. Please look forward with patience to our announcement!
