The first-ever online edition of Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival is over.
We hope you were able to enjoy watching films together, asking questions live to filmmakers after the screenings, and conversing at Komian Club among filmmakers and audiences alike—these are what we consider special to the Yamagata experience and we hope it worked even on the virtual platform.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all who took part and everyone who took part in running the operation. November brings us an online program of films awarded by the Agency for Cultural Affairs. Do check them out.
