Once I Entered a Garden Special Screening & Talk Session with Avi Mograbi

YIDFF runs every other year—in the off-years, we bring the previous year’s screening program to Tokyo, called “Documentary Dream Show—Yamagata in Tokyo (DDS).” This year, we will hold it at K’s Cinema, Shinjuku, Tokyo, over a few weeks in November.

As a preliminary event for the DDS 2014, we are pleased to have director Avi Mograbi with us for a special screening and lecture “Humor, Sarcasm and a Talkative Camera—Over Israel and Arab,” in collaboration with The Film School of Tokyo.

With the attendance of Mr. Mograbi, whose Once I Entered a Garden was screened in the YIDFF 2013 International Competition, we will have a special evening watching the film and taking thought for the current disastrous situation in Gaza.
