Asian Network of Documentary (AND) has compiled and edited an English language book on Asian documentary—possibly the first ever! Published by the Busan International Film Festival, it is a hefty 374 pages and includes two parts: “Part 1. The Landscape” comprised of eleven essays introducing the state of documentary in regions across Asia; and “Part 2. Viewpoints” featuring interviews with 13 filmmakers who received the AND Fund in the past. The book is available through AND members in Seoul (Korean language version also available), Bangkok, Taipei, Beijing, and Tokyo.
