The call for submissions to New Asian Currents, one of the mainstays of the Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival that introduces and supports up-and-coming filmmakers from the Asian region, finally closed on May 31. Thank you for all the many entries we have received! Now it’s down to the tricky business of selecting the finalists.
