TOKYU TOURIST will handle reservations for the hotels listed below for participants in YIDFF 2001. Since October is peak tourist season in Yamagata, the room situation is expected to be tight. We recommend that you make your booking well in advance.

**In the event of excess bookings for a particular hotel, guests will be decided on a first-come first-served basis. If there are no vacancies at your requested lodging, please be aware that you may be asked to transfer your reservation to alternate accommodation of the same or higher standard.

**There are also several onsens (hot springs) in the vicinity of Yamagata City including Zao, Tendo, Kaminoyama etc. These facilities also offer accommodation and we can make reservations for you, so if you would like to stay at an onsen please state your preferred onsen in the remarks section of the application form. Bookings for onsen accommodation are for 2 or more people per room, with breakfast and dinner included in the price.

1. Please fill out the HOTEL RESERVATION FORM and fax it to TOKYU TOURIST by Saturday, Sep. 15. RESERVATION FORM
2. We will fax you a detailed invoice and send you a RESERVATION TICKET. This ticket is required to check in at your hotel.
*A 525 yen for phone charge will be added.
*The payment including the 525 yen fee can be only accepted by credit card in a lump sum and should be made before your arrival in Japan.
3. We will charge the amount from your card.

*If your first choice is unavailable, we may ask you to accept accommodation at another hotel of equal or superior rank.
*Please note that laundry, mini-bar, phone and fax bills from your hotel are not included in this rate. Such extras are to be paid upon check-out.


If it becomes necessary for you to cancel your hotel arrangements after payment has been made, the following cancellation fees apply. Refunds will be made only after the end of the festival. Funds can be returned by bank transfer but fees for such transactions will be deducted accordingly.

When you arrive at Narita Airport, please go to the JR Reservation Ticket Office in Narita Airport for ground transportation. You will then take a NARITA EXPRESS train to Tokyo Station and transfer to a YAMAGATA SHINKANSEN bound for Yamagata. It takes 60 mins from Narita to Tokyo, and about 3 hours from Tokyo to Yamagata.
