The Motovun International Film Festival, held in the small town of Motovun on the peninsula of Istria in Croatia, commissioned filmmaker Dušan Makavejev to edit the trailers from film festivals around the world into one film. The festival trailers chosen by the selection committee ran to 40 minutes, and were screened at the Motovun International Film Festival in 2000. YIDFF’s 1999 film, created by students at Tohoku University of Art and Design, was among those shown.
