| Two short films shot on 35 mm evoke a dreamlike ambiance through images without dialogue or narration. Devil Bridge depicts a gondola bridge connecting a secluded mountain village with the outside world. The villagers glide through the mountain fog, high above a raging stream. In Lullaby, music and sound play a major role in creating a haunting image. Prayers echo in the mosque, church bells ring, and the clicking of shiny Western shoes foreshadows drama. |
